WWW Wednesday – 06/05/2020

Hey guys. Welcome to another WWW Wednesday post. WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer these three questions: 1) What are you currently reading? 2) What did you recently finish reading? 3) What do you think you’ll read next?

1) What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading quite a few books. The first one, the one I’ve been reading for the longest, is We Are Blood and Thunder by Kesia Lupo. My boyfriend and I are reading it out load to each other over Skype, a chapter a day. He works shifts, and this week he is on evening shifts, so we keep having to take week long breaks. It’s going to take us a while, but we are both really enjoying the book and the experience.

I am currently buddy reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas with Beth. I am FINALLY reading this series. We have a 3 month long buddy read schedule planned out for the whole series, and I am excited. We are just under half way through Throne of Glass and I am really enjoying it so far. I can’t wait to see where the book, and the series, goes.

In between those buddy reads, I am reading The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson. I read The Final Empire at the end of last month and I really enjoyed it, so I’m super excited to carry on with the series.

My current audiobook is Not So Pure and Simple by Lamar Giles. I am LOVING it! The story is so good, and the audiobook is so good. I really love the narrator, he is really bringing the story to life. I’m just over half way through, and I would highly recommend it so far.

2) What did you recently finish reading?

The last book I finished reading was The House of Hidden Wonders by Sharon Gosling. I ended up really loving it. You can read my review here if you want to see my full thoughts.

The last audiobook I finished was Bone Quill by John Barrowman and Carole E. Barrowman. Yes, I 100% only read this because it is by John Barrowman. He narrated the audiobook, so it was a good listening experience. I enjoyed it.

3) What do you think you’ll read next?

After Throne of Glass, I will be moving on to The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J Maas, and after The Well of Ascension, I will pick up The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson. I’m not sure yet what my next audiobook will be, and I don’t know what book Dan and I are going to read together next.
