Summary: My first time getting it in the butt was kind of weird. I think it’s going to be weird for everyone’s first time, though.

Meet Jack Rothman. He’s seventeen and loves partying, makeup and boys – sometimes all at the same time. His sex life makes him the hot topic for the high school gossip machine. But who cares? Like Jack always says, ‘it could be worse’.

He doesn’t actually expect that to come true.

But after Jack starts writing an online sex advice column, the mysterious love letters he’s been getting take a turn for the creepy. Jack’s secret admirer knows everything: where he’s hanging out, who he’s sleeping with, who his mum is dating. They claim they love Jack, but not his unashamedly queer lifestyle. They need him to curb his sexuality, or they’ll force him.

As the pressure mounts, Jack must unmask his stalker before their obsession becomes genuinely dangerous…

I was really interested in this book when I first heard about it. I love discovering new LGBT contemporaries, and it was really nice to read such an inclusive and sex positive book.

I really enjoyed the main plot of this story. Jack’s sex advice column was so open and honest and positive to everyone of every orientation. I especially loved seeing the ace rep that was included in this book, and how positive it was. I also really liked the mystery element of who Jack’s stalker was. It was really engaging and interesting watching them trying to figure out who it was. I did partially guess who it was before it was revealed though.

I really liked all the characters. They all felt really realistic, and it was really nice to read a YA novel about slightly older young adults. I also really liked the writing style. It was really easy and engaging to read.

My only real issue with this book was that there was drug use and smoking and heavy underage drinking, which are things that I just really don’t like reading about. If that doesn’t bother you, and you like LGBT books, then I really recommend this book. I just wanted to mention those elements of the novel in case you’re like me and it bothers you.
